Harang coming back out after the delay

Is another dumb managerial decision by Dusty Baker. Just one in a long line of decisions that leave me scratching my head.

Dusty trying to get him a W.

Dusty trying to get him a W.

At what expense? Try to get the team the win and don't extend a pitcher that he ruined last year. It's a dumb move and it better not have a lasting affect on Harang. He wasn't even sharp before the 2 hour rain delay.

I'm sure he asked him if he was OK to go. I am sure it was a combination of both their decisions.

Pitching your ace isn't trying to get the team the win?

And he's not going to say no.

They needed one out. I don't care how it's justified it's dumb to send him back out after a rain delay that lasted over 2 hours. Especially a guy that was ruined last year after saying he was ok to pitch in relief last year.

Why waste Votto in that situation?

Bruce and Nix are available from the left side. It's not a waste to have two guys on w/ one out and the top of the lineup up.

Who would you rather have hitting in the 8th or 9th with the go ahead run on first? Votto, Bruce or Nix? I think we all know the answer to that one (Assuming the astros made a come back)

How do you figure? He didn't even touch the base.

Yes he did, he hit it with his toe on the way by

Big assumption. They added runs and hopefully they won't need a big at bat in the 9th.

I don't think he did and even if he did he didn't have control.

It's not that big of an assumption to think the Astros could score 3 runs. They got lucky to add on...Houston blew a taylor made DP ball. Cincinnati hasn't scored an earned run today.
