May 30, 200917 yr Can't wait to hear his explanation for not bunting there. It isn't like they have been burned by trying to bunt. W/ such a mediocre hitter at the plate and a groundball pitcher he has no explanation that works. I honestly think he will cost them 8-10 games this year and they'll finish within 5 games of the division winner.
May 30, 200917 yr That's a back breaking loss. Their best pitcher gives them a very good effort and they can't get it done. It's even more frustrating that they had an opportunity to at least tie in the 8th. Add to that Votto leaves again early, brutal.

That would make sense. I would hope there's no way the Reds would continue sending him out there if they didn't think he could go. On the pregame show yesterday he said he wasn't 100%, but he was feeling better.

May 30, 200917 yr Gomes gives you quality AB every time up there. If you are not going to bunt, I would rather have Gomes in that situation instead of Dickerson.
