May 20, 200917 yr Really not sure, but Harrelson and Stewart come to mine right off. No Seniors to be will be leaving, pretty sure Mr. Todd already said so.
May 20, 200917 yr You are all selling Ramon short. THe past two years he's had to shoulder more load than his talent will allow. But stick him on the floor with 4 other very talented players and I think you'll see that he will be an asset to the Cats. Ramon will see the floor and will contribute if health concerns don't cause him to not play. I think Ramon deserves a bit more respect and loyalty from Cats fans than he's getting. He never once didn't play hard, he never once brought disrespect to UK. He's represented us well and deserves more from some so called UK fans than he is getting. He can't be blamed that the previous two coaches surrounded him with mediocre players. I'm as excited about Coach Cal as anyone. But we don't cast aside those who have been productive and loyal just because...... :thumb: And Ramon has given UK all he has on the floor. That is all you can ask from a kid!!! And I believe that Coach Cal and Mitch Barnhart have said that if a player wanted to stay, they would honor their scholly, but, that Coach Cal would be honest with them as to whether they would fit his scheme or not.
May 20, 200917 yr I read and heard that Harris will not be leaving, all seniors who want to stay will have their scholly's honored, this was from Mitch Barnhart. That doesn't mean that they would ever see the floor. Once Calipari evaluates and talks candidly with each player, a senior may choose to leave. Stay tuned...
May 20, 200917 yr Cal was on the news tonight saying he could end up with as few as 11 on scholly once the year starts.
May 20, 200917 yr Calipari said last week that he had not spoken with players about their future plans but planned to meet with each one to provide an assessment of his fit in the new system. "They may tell me (they're not coming back) when we sit down and say, 'Here's where it is,'" Calipari said.
May 20, 200917 yr From what I hear, Coach Cal has promised the Seniors they would have a spot on the team if they wanted it, so Harris will be back next year. Is there a chance that one of these players (Liggins maybe) could get an "academic hardship" like Marquis Estill did a few years back? I'm 99.9% sure those don't count toward your scholarship total.

Galloway will be a senior too.

A 6'7 SF that gives it his all every time, is hard to find these days. He will be battling for the 7th-9th spots, but he could see upto possibly 10 minutes per game. Ramon fills the spot of a role player. He was asked to do way too much under BCG.
May 20, 200917 yr He is a walk on and will be back next season. I know Billy G. liked him because he said he was one of the toughest players that was the on the team, so maybe Coach Cal. has the same opinion!?
