98NCCalum Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I love the people who continually blamed GABP for the Reds pitching woes. Its been proven that good pitchers pitch well there and have good ERA's there. Bad pitchers dont, novel concept.
Chosen_One Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 WOW! Never in my life thought I would see that!
Bandit29 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 These guys can throw. Should be hard to go on a long losing streak with those guys on the bump.
Da champ Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 If the Reds can figure how to win at GABP...katy bar da door !
ekubum Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Looking at those stats I noticed the Nationals are 3 for 10 on save opportunities.......wow
Bandit29 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Good pitching...now they can't score. With pitching like this, they don't have to score too much.
5wide Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 With pitching like this, they don't have to score too much. True. I definitely like what the Reds have now far more than the Griffey, Dunn, Casey, etc. days, when they lost 14-10 on a fairly regular basis. I think the offense will get better...I like a lot of the young talent they have and I expect it to come around with a little time. This team could be in the post-season soon...

I was keeping track of it for a while last season, and it was staggering.

I was thinking a little further back...the last year or two they've been transitioning to better pitching and less offense...Casey gone, Dunn traded, Griffey traded, etc...

The Reds team ERA is 4.73 at home vs. 2.79 on the road.......still don't think GABP has anything to do with it? :sssh:
