May 5, 200917 yr I have several, my tacos...they are different, I have posted the recipe on here before. Chicken and dumpliings, with fresh leaf lettuce, mashed potatoes ( homemade) and biscuits. Smoked baby back ribs, gourmet potatoes and baked beans and my homemade apple pie or apple dumplings. I cook a big meal every night so I have lots of recipes. Also I have had my own catering service. Wow! That is impressive, goldie!:thumb: I also cook at home pretty much every night. On ballpark nights, I will even load up food and take it to the park for my husband and kids to eat. My kids' favorites are probably my white turkey tacos (which they don't realize is not beef!) or my spaghetti and meat sauce. My husband's is probably fresh green beans, brown rice, big baked potato, grilled pork chops or tenderloin, and finished off with some fresh strawberries. Depending on the season, we may have some corn on the cob or some garden zucchini and/or squash as well.

When you have been around as long as I have....your life's journey can take you many places.... I was Home Ec teacher for 14 years, Creative foods classes. I also taught a " How to Party Class" at Morehead State University for 7 years. Yes it was a very popular class.... Talking about strawberries I have a great glaze for the pie. 1 1/2 -2 C sugar 1 very heaping T corn starch 1 can sprite few drops red food coloring Combine first 3 ingredients and mix well. Cook over medium heat till thickens. Add food coloring. Let cool. You can pour this over berries in your pie shell or use to dip the berries in. Also good to spread on a cheesecake and top with fresh berries.
May 5, 200917 yr I'll sub a baked potatoe for the fries and I'll be over sometime this weekend.:thumb: True. You have to go baked potato about 50% of the time. BTW Neerfan, I know this is off topic, but I had a dream last night that our Canes went 5-0 to start the season. Hopefully dreams come true, cause if they navigate that tough schedule they will be playing Florida for the title.:thumb:
