April 23, 200917 yr You're right, Rosales has proven he'd be an offensive upgrade over Edwin. Duh, what was I thinking....Heck, why don't we just bring up Francisco now. That way when he's 22 we can give up on him too. Edwin has had 4+ years up here to "get it" I don't really know how much more time you want to give him? What is going to change? I think its pretty obvious he isn't the answer at 3B in the future. His career numbers speak for them self, I don't think much will change.

That way when he's 22 we can give up on him too. Rosales hasn't been given a chance to show what he can do. He's got a very hot bat at Louisville right now. I've been as big as a supporter that E-5 has had the past two or three years, but the guy needs to start hitting. When the Reds sent E-5 down a couple of years ago, he came back up and was one of their most productive hitters the rest of the year. The Reds can't keep running 4 sub .200 guys out there everyday and expect to win.

Taveras Phillips Votto Bruce/Edwin Edwin/Bruce Dickerson or Hairston Hernandez Gonzo Votto is tearing it up right now in the three hole so I would keep him there. This should also allow Phillips to see better pitches with Votto behind him. Then I would go in either order with Bruce and Edwin in the 4 and 5 hole.

April 23, 200917 yr Cueto not walking anyone is HUGE for him. Hairston play was terrible, magnified by the way he scored from 1st on the double by Votto, seemed to be running well at that point. BP getting a couple of hits, hopefully a sign of things to come.
April 23, 200917 yr Author Hitting your lefties back to back in the middle? Sure why not. The Phillies hit 3 or 4 lefties in a row. Votto and Bruce are both quality hitters, and I see no problem hitting them back to back.
