I think Zollo is a good player and seems like a good kid, but I would be really surprised if UK keeps him as a committment. He just doesn't fit Calipari's system.

I agree. He just doesn't fit the need.

Zollo has a lot of upside to his game. I hope it works out for him and UK, but if not he will be a very nice D1 player somewhere. It was great to see that they still like KY and their decision to move here. I enjoyed watching his improvement this year and look forward to his next two years as a Cardinal.

I believe you can pretty much book it, that Coach Cal will not recruit Zollo. I not sure Zollo will fit into Coach Cal's dribble drive offense. Zollo has two years to improve as a player and I feel confident he will by playing D-1 somewhere when he graduates.

I think I disagree that Zollo doesn't fit Coach Cal's system. Zollo is not a guard and Coach Cal does not have his big men doing "dribble drive". Think Joey Dorsey. Zollo is similar to him in many ways and better in others. I think Zollo might fit in ok.

Zollo will never be close to Dorsey. Dorsey was bigger and much more skilled than Zollo.

Zollo will probably go D-1, just not at UK.

The major consideration here is that the young man will in all likelihood be playing college basketball and get his higher education paid for. I wish him well, whether it's at UK or somewhere else.

I do find it interesting that in only a week we have so many experts on the dribble drive motion offense...

So true.

Heck, I thought DDMO stood for Defense Data Management Office...

My wife had a meeting in Memphis several years ago on her job and we were only a couple of blocks from the Pyramid and they had a game that night so we walked over and watched the game, mainly to see the building. I never paid much attention to the style of play. I would love to see a clip of that offense to see what it's like. I'm like most other people on here, I don't know crap about that offense.

If Zollo has to play the 4 in college, he will have to put the ball on the floor in coach cal's offense. Now, if they are looking at him as a true 5 post player than he would fit into the system. Not sure if he can play the 5 in major D-1. I think Zollo will make a nice player at the 5 at a mid-major school.
