Tickets go on sale soon I believe. If you do go make sure you let me know, I will meet up with you there. They are coming with Rancid and I'm not really a big fan of them though.

I will be going unless I get a job and am in the academy.

I was 17 when I joined...

Offline I'm completely different. My posting style is pretty much the same though...

My girlfriend and I were extremely excited about this concert when it was announced... Then she realized that's the week she is going to Florida on vacation.

Now I'm trying to figure out how upset she would get if I went and saw one of her favorite bands without her... I'm measuring risk vs. reward.

And I'm open to suggestions....

By the way... Does anyone else agree that "Audience of One" is possibly the worst song on the new album? And yet it's the one that seems to have them breaking through on the radio here...

I was 49 when I joined in January 2004. A friend told me it was a good site for high school sports, so I decided to join. Until then I rarely used a computer for anything, now I use it everyday when possible.

I enjoy the sports and updates, but I also enjoy the other forums, especially General and P&R.

Hey GS we had computers in the '60s . They were called slide rules :D

I've still got one.

When I trundled off to college in 1973, my parents bought me a hand-held calculator. I could add, subtract, multiply and divide. And get this - it also had a square root function, so I was one up on some of my classmates. All for only $79.99.

Well, I'm not really a big fan of that song either. I actually went out with my pay check about 2 weeks ago and just bought all their cd's.

I bet it sells out in less than 24 hrs...

I got one even better. I can remember at school using an abacus to learn to add and subtract. This was in the early '60's

We did the same thing. And that was like 1974.
I was a little big older than the both of you when I joined 43 to be exact. In August that would make it 8 years for me. I plan on being here for a very long time. I agree with the previouse statements. I've shared moments from my life from my kids sports to the birth of all of my grandchildren.

This site is a big part of our family now. My daughter even worn a BGP shirt right after she gave birth to her son. She appropriates a lot of my stuff! :D

1965 was a good year. 43 too. :thumb: Will be 44 in December.

2003 was a good year to join the BGP Club,I have no regrets.:thumb:

I feel like I have changed quiet a bit since I first came here. When I first arrived at BGP, I was 15 years old! I have met many people (some in person) and feel like I have gained a few friends, even if I've never met some of you. I have asked for advice from some of you and almost always the ones I ask are very eager to help. What I'm trying to say is that I love this website and I'm glad I decided to join 7 years go. I'm not sure if it means much, but thanks to everyone who works hard to keep this site as great as it is. I look forward to many more fun years of posting in the future!

Do you remember how you heard and signed up for it? LOL
