Was this really necessary???

No. Don't even need to hear any details of the game to know this was selfish, stupid baseball. If you can't keep do any better at controlling the beating, then don't schedule opponents such as this. And that goes for both schools.

Eastern pulled one starter. The game went five innings

How can something like this happen in college?

Eastern pulled one starter. The game went five innings

There really should be some kind of penalty enforced by the NCAA for doing something like this. Not sure what, but this isn't what college athletics is about.

EKU only has 13 position players. From the looks of the box score, two starters batted one time each and were pulled for two bench players. Two other guys didn't get in at all. Could have had sore arms or other injuries. They scored the 49 runs in 4 INNINGS!!! Not giving excuses, just stats (which look like a video game's stats). It IS an embarrassment for EKU.

Anybody at the game? If they were sending runners home from second on singles then yes that's bush.....but if they were playing station to station and KSU couldn't get them out and all the Eastern players played that were able to then I have no problem with it...You can't tell people to get out on purpose....

My only issue with this, is that everyone is jumping on Eastern when there aren't enough details. If EKU was getting single after single, you can't tell your kids to purposely get out, because that is even more disrespectful..

True Oscar...........I would hope that somebody who was there could provide some details.........
