I can't remember a season in NKY with so many potential D1 guys.

3pete, I think the Birds OL may be the best in NKY overall. They're going to have a combination of size, speed and athletic ability. Plus they have the "T" factor in Coach Turner.

Perhaps this should be another thread, but will this be the best class ever in N. Ky.? Collinsworth, Simpson and Nichols have their pick of D1 offers and that by itself could cause you to make an argument this is the best class ever. Roller, Grubbs and West are likely D1 signees. Because there will be so many recruiters checking out the above you may see another player or two get noticed and pick up an offer. I can't think of another N. Ky. class with this many D1 signees.

With the recruiters in the area looking at all the above, don't be surprised if another player or two picks up a D1 offer. I can't remember another class as good as this one in N. Ky.

With Nichols and Roller being potential D1 signees at TE, its unusual, you just don't hear about great tight ends in high school. My memory is fading but the last ones I remember are Smith from Highlands and Jacobs from NCC,but to have two of this caliper in the same class is very unusual. JMO.

It's looking like it may be one of the best ever. Add in Cincinnati, and the greater Cincinnati area is stacked with talent this coming year.

Cincinnati always gets a lot of D1 signees. Cincinnati is actually considered a top D1 recruiting area. Which always made me wonder why N. Ky. with its successful programs doesn't get more attention from recruiters since they obviously work the area. I don't think we have to worry about N. Ky. getting overlooked this year.

Grubbs has received at least a couple of D-1 offers, so it's a given that he'll be a D-1 signee. I agree that Roller and West are likely signees and I'd add Bardo to that list also.

I also think the scouts are going to love what they see in Kyle Welz this season at Highlands. I'm not sure, but he's in the 6'6" range and about 250 lbs. I think this young man is going to have a great season for the Birds!

Scott Kuhn, from Conner, went to UL graduated from there 2 years ago.

Good point. Would make a very good college OT, although he'll play TE this year on O.

I am sure I've missed a couple of other D1 scholarships that year.
