If Calipari leaves Memphis what would the appeal be to go play in the C-USA? He is the reason all of those studs went there. Next few days (or even hours) should be interesting.
March 30, 200917 yr Boo! That is sad. He didn't want the job until Calipari got interested. Who says he wants the job? The word is he and Calipari don't like each other. Maybe he wants to convince Todd not to hire Calipari if the ball is, in fact, in Todd's court. JMO Didn't Maggard say Pitino talked Donovan out of taking the UK job the first time around and may have again? Or did I imagine that?

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Action News 5's Jarvis Greer reports a source close to situation says University of Memphis basketball head coach will leave the Tigers to take the job of head coach at the University of Kentucky. Players Wesley Withersppon and Robert Sallie are expected to transfer to Kentucky along with Calipari. Willie Kemp and Pierre Henderson-Niles will stay with the Tigers. Shawn Taggart will pass up his final year of eligibility and will graduate in May.
