Were they the same refs? Make-up call...days later? I wasn't there (unfortunately). My son told me it was a whale of a game, though. I said earlier in the year that Holmes gets calls that other teams don't...ala "Jordan Rules". Looks like it continues. Good luck to the Dawgs! Kudos to NCC for an outstanding season. I know at the All "A" NCC sent multiple buses to the March for Life trip. I believe that was the main reason for lack of student support at least during the All "A" game.

I have to say I am pretty impressed with the fact that there were a lot of NKY teams who stepped up and didnt back down to a very impressive and intimidating team like Holmes. After seeing this team play against Scott County early on I thought it could get ugly this year in the 9th. It didnt happen as Holmes had to come out and compete for wins in a lot of games. Boone Co got the only win from a NKY team but they certainly didnt blow a lot of teams out this season.

 

NCC will have a decent core coming back next year with Pangallo/Meyer/J.Geisler. You have a nice playmaker, a good shooter and a solid big man to build around.

I disagree with the foul calling. Holmes gets away with alot more calls. I think the 16th region official were intimidated by Holmes.

We'll agree to disagree then. Not sure how you can make that comment though when Holmes was actually called for more fouls throughout the game than NCC was.

We can certainly agree to disagree. I based my comment on several games seen over the past couple of years. It isn't any particular ref/game...just a generalization that I've come to notice.

I agree with you Obie.... I think we found our lost child! If you watch close enough Holmes does a lot of inside Jersey holding and arm locking that does not get called. So yes, they do get away with some fouls that should be obviously called, and I am sure there are other teams out there that do also.
