March 4, 200917 yr I clicked on the link and thought this was priceless. first you have this paragraph... The Barbie Ban Bill, proposed by Democratic Delegate Jeff Eldridge (D) Lincoln County, says such toys influence girls to place too much importance on physical beauty, at the expense of their intellectual and emotional development. And right under that is an add for wrinkle cream and another for how to get a flatter stomach.
March 4, 200917 yr I just found out Delegate Eldridge (D) is the great-great grandson of the Meister Burger-Burger Meister.
March 4, 200917 yr They may outlaw body hygiene next. We sure don't want to set the bar too high with appearances.
March 4, 200917 yr They may outlaw body hygiene next. We sure don't want to set the bar too high with appearances. I believe that some in W.VA already have, and might I say those are some law abiding citizens. Don't believe me? Just check out some of the people on the local news interviews, some of those people a person can smell through the screen! .........:scared:
March 4, 200917 yr This is going to get WV in the spotlight, the late show's spotlight, again. Youi're right, they will have a field day with this one. At least it will get them off of the Kentucky jokes for a while. Also, Watusi...when I checked the link there was an add for a product for whiter teeth.
March 4, 200917 yr We sure don't want to set the bar too high with appearances. Correct, the ACLU would be all over that claiming discrimination. March 4, 200917 yr Author You have no idea. Actually, I do! I lived there for 5 years, so I can relate!
March 4, 200917 yr I always did say that the toothbrush had to be invented in West Virginia; otherwise it would be known to this day as the teethbrush.
