March 4, 200917 yr Say it ain't so, Jim.:scared: Although even I - golf fan that I am - have to agree that much of the time the term "golf action" is an oxymoron. Golf is a rich man's sport, and I ain't ever been rich. And watching it on TV is about the only thing that's on par with classical music at inducing sleep.

March 4, 200917 yr The effort that took is impressive. Probably a technical violation of Rule 13, but I was just trying to give JS a hard time.

March 4, 200917 yr People who go to the Bank Drive Thru when they aren't prepared at all to make a transaction. Elderly people and Mothers with a lot of kids excluded. People who stand in line at the Bank only to have the Teller fill something out for them that they could have done but they are just to lazy.
March 4, 200917 yr Me-"Were you in class yesterday?" Someone else-"No, were you?" ^Pet peeve of mine because it just adds another line I have to say in the conversation which is: Me-"Obviously not because if I was, I would have known if you were there or not."
March 4, 200917 yr I don't like it when people set deadlines and then tell me I am wrong for waiting until the deadline to do the work. Does it ever occur that time is a motivator and some people's best work comes in the day before a deadline? Oh, and lately I have realized that people that don't realize that just because you can do something, doesn't mean it is always something that you should do or that is a good idea annoy me. These people also tend to be very persistant.
March 4, 200917 yr BGP Pet Peeve (are we allowed to have any? ): That the smilies are almost never in the same spot. I have to hunt around for the ones I want. :taz:
March 4, 200917 yr Author Golf is a rich man's sport, and I ain't ever been rich. And watching it on TV is about the only thing that's on par with classical music at inducing sleep. I'm far from rich. It can be a rich man's game, but there are courses you can play in Maysville where the membership is literally something like $30 a month - the cost of about 2 CDs. All the golf you want for a dollar a day (I know, you can't play much in the winter). I play with a set of used clubs I got from Second Swing for $69; folks laugh at my $19 Wal-Mart driver until they see me hit it down the middle about 8 or 9 times out of 10. As far as golf on TV being an effective soporific, I'm with you.
March 4, 200917 yr People who like, say "like", like all the time. Like, I don't like it. And all the politicians who are being interviewed on Fox or CNN who start out every other statement with "Look". "Look, I know the economy is in bad shape but...." "Look, the media has unfairly hammered Palin....."
March 4, 200917 yr People who say Wal-marts, K-marts, chimley and my favorite......"Doc, the liter in my neck is tight." We as humans do not have liters, they are tendons.
March 4, 200917 yr Now that I think about it, the neighbors have given me some funny looks. And the Quickie Mart is just a few blocks down the road...:laugh: That's funy right there, I don't care who you are.
March 4, 200917 yr And all the politicians who are being interviewed on Fox or CNN who start out every other statement with "Look". "Look, I know the economy is in bad shape but...." "Look, the media has unfairly hammered Palin....." Listen, these people have important information to impart …
March 5, 200917 yr I thought of one more. I didn't realize how annoying this was until I experienced it first hand ant the UK/LSU game Saturday. I'll call him "Mr. Fan Coach." A guy setting a row in front of me was screaming out plays (from the upper deck). This guy was so into it that he knew the officials names. He also gave his wife very hard high fives after any basket UK made and any decent defensive miss. He really reminded me of Joe from family guy. He was very intense. At first it was ruining the experience. By the end of the game, I was laughing so hard at him I really didn't care that UK had lost.
