Pet Peeves Revisited

Featured Replies

I think you should give official titles to the people who peeve you off, ala the Miller commercials on TV.

:thumb: That will work . I like that guy (Miller delivery guy) and those commercials.

People who listen to the radio and watch TV at the same time. It's IMPOSSIBLE to do both, so PLEASE....just choose one!

Sometimes that's necessary, like when there a good game or program on t.v. and you are keeping up with a high school ball game............it can be done.

I Can't stand:

loud eaters/lip smackers.

Being passed on a two lane road only to have the passer then turn left off the road.

People eating popcorn during a movie.

Country music in general.

I have a problem with:

People who prefer fried seafood over other methods of cooking.

People who think The Olive Garden is authentic Italian.

People who put ketchup on a steak (my wife is guilty of this).

1. I cannot deal with the loud eaters either

2. Yep! :irked: (pin heads)

3. What? A movie with no popcorn? Sorry but.....

4. O.K....No country music, we just may not get along at all. :D

5. We are starting to have a lot less in common from the start of this.... I love fried seafood.

6. I agree with this one, I like the Olive Garden but in no way is that true Italian.

7. Agreed again! I cannot stand to see this, and especially on steak is a sin.

Ketchup imo on anything is terrible. My rule is to only use ketchup if you want to kill the taste of something, I find that condiment especially helpful when eating dinner at the mother in laws :sssh:.

No it's not. If I'm watching a ballgame, I don't need the announcers to tell me what's going on. I can see it for myself. Why not take advantage of that time to listen to music?

If you do, then you better not have the sound on the TV. :taz:

I don't know why, RM, but the "Taz" figure just seemed so perfectly appropriate at the end of your post!

That's pretty much what I look like when I'm subjected to such torture. :D

Actually, now that I think about it, Taz belongs at the end of each pet peeve! :taz:

People who talk on the phone in the same room that I'm trying to watch TV.

Good one! With you on that!:thumb:

My pet peeve? Probably UL fans... They have a couple of winning seasons, beat a couple of no. 1's and they all of a sudden own the joint. Win a championship or two and then check back. :sssh:

:D :taz:

I agree with what was said earlier.

1. When people use comma splices. That's where they use commas when it's not needed.

2. When you're in a double lane and people are driving beside each other in both the fast and slow lane, and block you from passing.

3. When people look over your shoulder while you type on your computer.

I agree with what was said earlier.
