Bruce Hunt has been named the new Middle School coach. Great choice IMO.

 

Excellent, it is time to get the ball rolling on organizing the combined middle school team. I know some of the boys have been coming to the high school to work out. This is great stuff!

Looks to be an excellent staff for the 7th and 8th grade teams. With Bruce, Greg and Jordan (and others) working with the 7th grade, the boys will learn and blend together quickly. Next years 7th grade has alot of really skilled players that will become a core group and help Greenup County down the road. My son worked out with the middle schoolers this past week and was sore every night lol but he's having a great time!

 

The future really looks bright for GC football!

Bruce will and has for years, always had a way of getting the most out of his kids. I will say it again this is a great hire.

There will be a booster club meeting tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 6pm in the bleachers. We will discuss the summer calendar, Field work, and the middle school football program. Hope to see everyone out at the meeting!

I have known this young man for years, watched him play, watched him coach, watched him become a husband and dad. He is very passionate about the game and winning and very passionate about teaching kids how to become young men and women. Great choice in my opinion.:dancingpa

Bruce is a christian and a fine man. He will teach the boys football and he will be a great influence on their lives. I still remember him as a player in Junior High at McKell and also playing along side him at Greenup. Great man.
