KHSAA recently ruled that because the rule change was late going before the general assembly, it would not go into affect until next year. So we get a reprieve!!!

I couldn't agree more. When I first joined BGP, it seems that all I saw were negative vibes about my beloved Alma Mater. Now, hope springs eternal for the Green and Gold. Hopefully, things have turned the corner for them.

So whats the deal with Zach Meenach. Does anybody think he has what it takes to be the qb? :confused:

 

I believe he can deliver and deliver big for GC. Zach is very coachble/SMART and with this offense that is very important. He'll have the chance to show off his athletic ability as with his arm. People will be surprised with his arm. He's killing the weightroom, he'll becoming in the season at 180-185pounds as a sophmore. I know we play Ashland first game and Ashland will bring it. Look for Corey Lyle, Terry Waugh and Brandon Marsh to get a ton of carries to take any pressure off Zach the first couple of games.

There is diffently a ton of talent in the backfield. Corey, Terry and Brandon are all very talented and love the game of Football. If the line can do the blocking then these young men will do their part and make this a season for everyone to remember as the turn around for Greenup county. We may not win every game but like Coach Copley said the teams will know we are on the field!

Maybe it was national average per catch.... I will get the facts from coach again, I probably just forgot, me and my old age is catching up to me.. LOL, but 13 TD's out of 25 catches, that is strong...
