This was discussed at the BOE meeting as a few of the council would like to see it done as a way to have an increase in revenue as well as nice seats for our community to reserve for GCHS football games.

Not that I have heard, but I think it is a great idea. If you will assure me that you will be at everygame next year I'll personally build you one to sit in.

The boys are hitting still hitting the weights very hard after school.

Can they avoid an 0-3 start?

Stopped by the field house yesterday and you could feel the excitement coming from the boys and the parents that I saw. I'm so happy for the boys and for the team.

Nice article in today's paper, The Independent. It is an introduction of Coach Copley and a brief insight into his first weeks with the boys and Spring practice.

For most area high schools, spring football was a time for putting on the pads, possibly experimenting with offenses or fine-tuning what’s already working.

 

For Greenup County, it was a time for introductions.

 

New Musketeer coach Mike Copley completed his spring drills two weeks ago and came away cautiously optimistic.

 

“We’re not as behind as I thought, but we’re still behind,” he said.
