Ashland, Raceland, and Russell are a load to start with.

2 out of the 3 Teams are hurting on the offense/defense of line this up and coming season. The strongest point for GC is the offense/defense of line. Leading the lineman is Junior Brain Grayson with him will be J.J. Caudill, Cole Potter, Shelby Worthington, Chad Timberlake, Jake Abrams, Nick Tackett, Marcus Worthington and I know I've left a couple of names out that play some good minutes for GC. Teams will be surprised with GC this up and coming season.

The things coach has been doing is making the boys more aggressive and more sure of the abilities and the strength they may have, it is assisting with improving self esteem and building good morale and making the team be a team.

 

They are getting stronger in the weight room.

 

He has gave them a diet to follow each day that has a significant amount of protein in it, they are basically eating every 2-3 hours all day long until bed. This should build muscles and increase their metabolism.

He has a son on the team and is as excited about what is going on as all of you are on here. Sounds like you do have things going in a good direction. I totally agree with you things are looking great right now and the boys are feeling like they have a chance at a winning season. From what I hear the boxing is just about everyones favorite workout. And the feeding every 2 or 3 hours has got to put some weight on those who need it. I may have to take out a loan to be able to afford the protein shakes!:lol:

Anyone have any news on when they plan to start working on the field? :idunno:I was told they needed a 3 or 4 day window with no rain and this weekend looks pretty good.

The protein shakes, egg whites, and bread for 7 sandwiches a day is certainly adding to the grocery bill!!!! Of course, it will all pay off in the long run!!!

No, that would be Casey Hayes and he will graduate in May.

Copley is also going to have a week long youth camp and has made to known to the JFL that he wants them running his offense. This will be huge IMO.
