February 19, 200917 yr How is this team any better with Tubby at this point? His recruiting and lack there of is a big part of the reason why UK is still struggling. I mean look at the depth of this team. The only possible difference you could argue is UK could have went after an ace recruiter such as a Calapari or Matta but they already had homes. Just have to continue to be partient with Billy C.
February 19, 200917 yr I searched the thread and couldnt find, surprisingly that I had posted. I dont know how many people on here are familiar with the band Black Label Society, but all I heard in my head was the song Doomsday Jesus at the time. I despised the way Tubby was treated. I also hate the way Billy G is being treated by some, at the present moment. (This is no shot at you for starting the thread). I believe it is a good one, due to recent uprisings.

February 20, 200917 yr Talked about this at work today, I'm going to say, That a lot of people wish UK still ran the ball line D... The ball line D was certainly effective during Tubby's last two seasons.

Now Billy G is left restoring the engine. :thumb: Call me crazy, but I never expected Billy G to make it to the final four within his first two seasons. Heck, I might even give him 4 or 5 to turn the team around. It's hard to make a delicious steak when all you have to work with is old cheap bologne.
February 20, 200917 yr UKMustangFan: "Coming from a guy who thinks Calipari would be a good choice....." I'd rather have Cal than BCG, he recruits horses, plays fun and uptempo, and last time I checked, he's had some pretty good seasons.
