Mr.Network Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 With high school football leading right into high school basketball, I have been on a "concession stand tour" since August. The winter is usually a weight-gain period for me but this one has been particularly difficult for me. Anybody else having trouble passing up the hot dogs, nachos and popcorn?
The Professor Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I have to have a bag of popcorn and a pop at every game. It's like something clicks in my head as soon as I walk in the door. We have a very good concession stand at our school run by the staff of the Youth Sevice Center. They do a great job. They also have nachos, chili dogs (or plain), and candy.
NEERFAN Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I usually don't venture to the concession stand but I tried the popcorn at BC last week, and it was excellent. Only .50, a great value.

formerkywrestler Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I went to the region wrestling tournament this past weekend and realized how much I don't miss concession stand food. :puke:
Jim Schue Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I'm at games usually 4-5 nights a week, and I can't recall the last time I ate anything off a HS concession stand.
NHS BIG DADDY Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I could eat a pretzel with cheese everyday and not get sick of it.

Handy Manny Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Has anyone ever heard of a "Walking Taco"? I don't want to eat anything that is walking.

rockmom Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I'm just going to throw this out there....Louisville Central High School has the ABSOLUTE BEST Football concession food EVER!
Mr.Network Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 I do better at avoiding the food at schools that don't allow food in the gym. If I have to eat it in the lobby, I usually pass on it.
