February 9, 200917 yr As I said in the pregame thread, I am quite impressed that the Lakers won this game, almost as impressed as I was that they beat Boston in Boston. I never thought they'd do this well without Bynum, and they have established themselves as the favorite in the NBA, both now and when Bynum returns. The Lakers swept the East's top 2 teams for the season.

February 9, 200917 yr L.A. defends LeBron really well. 1) They force him to shoot the ball outside of 3 ft. (which he is not good at) 2) They are not big inside, but they are crafty enough to force him in to difficult shots
February 9, 200917 yr Kobe and Ariza did a fantastic job on Lebron, 5-20 from the field. Having Ariza for the full season is an overlooked addition to the current Lakers team, IMO...
