I'd have Ferguson somewhere in the mix.

Cox is a nice player, but he is not even in the top 3 in the 7th region. Politics as usual.

 

Looking forward to seeing how this list performs at the D1 level in college. Its not about the talent with these lists.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the KY Allstars take on Indiana this year. Wonder who will stand out and lead Kentucky this year.

Word is Riley and Jenkins were a nasty a combination this summer. I know Jenkins played extremely well with him at the point.

Jacob Jenkins, barring injury, would have won Mr. Basketball this season. There's no doubt in my mind that had he been healthy was the state's top player. There's still time left for this young man to state his case.

I've been refraining from relaying this, but I will now.

 

I talked to someone recently who knows the Louisville high school scene well, and I asked him about Jenkins. His reply? ... "He isn't that great." This person went on to say how some people talk Jenkins up to the point of annoyance, but that he isn't an elite-level Division I player like Hood is regarded to be.

 

Jenkins is a fine high school player, and he will play Division I basketball on some level. But he isn't the best player in the state, and most of the people I talk to that are knowledgable on the subject feel the same way.

 

In my opinion, the best seniors in the state this year are Hood and Sanford ... I haven't seen Penny play, so I don't have an opinion on him.

They were. Riley pentrating left Jenkins open a lot for wide open shots. I believe the team that Jackson/Euton were on at the UK Elite camp, Jenkins lit up for 30+.

There's been many say Jenkins is the best and these are knowledgeable coaches.

 

As far as Sanford ahead of Jenkins, well, if play on the court counts, then Jenkins has the upper hand. Jenkins healthy and against Lex Cath at PRP it wasn't close. Jenkins outshined him across the board.

 

I really hope he gets back on the court at full strength. He's the total package and you saw it when he took the court against St. X.
