February 8, 200917 yr Author Another player I really enjoyed was Dwyane Wade, I've said before I was at the Elite 8 game in Minneapolis and got to witness first hand his domination of UK; I'm a UK fan through and through but he earned my respect that night and became one of my all-time favorites. I also really like Antoine Barbour even though his time at UK was short, man could he throw it down! Today I really enjoy Steph Curry, Jeff Teague, Al Farouq-Aminu, Jrue Holliday, and Austin Daye. I wish Brandon Jennings would have been able to play at Arizona, he would have been by-far my favorite College Basketball Player. some others: Salim Stoudemire, Deron Williams, Juan Dixon, Dee Brown, Chris Webber, The Diesel, Tyrus Thomas, Maurice Ager, Shannon Brown, Aaron Brooks, and Ike Diogu.

February 9, 200917 yr Pistol Pete. IMO, the greatest college basketball player of all time. I guess most would say Kareem, Walton or others were better, but the Pistol was the man. Recent favorites of mine are Chris Lofton, Jason Williams (duke), Antawn Jamison, and my favorite Cat of all-time Tayshaun. Least favorites are defintiely Roy Hibbert and Hasheem Thabeet, and most of the '97 Arizona Wildcats roster only because that win would have been #2 in a three-peat of UK championships.
February 9, 200917 yr Wayne Turner and Cliff Hawkins... Coming soon, GJ Vilarino. All 3 of these guys were/are in the same mold. I think GJ will be very similar to the 2 guys above. Wayne Turner gets my vote for #1 though I think.

February 9, 200917 yr Rex - just wish he'd stayed a little longer. I also liked watching Chris Jackson when he was at LSU.

February 9, 200917 yr No one could make a game as interesting as J.J. Redick. His competitive spirit, his toughness, and his sweet stroke was everything that is great about college basketball. I'm waiting for someone else like him to come around. Right now, Deonta Vaughn, Nick Calethes, Stephon Curry, and T-Will are really fun to watch, and I always root for Preston Knowles and Darius Miller being old foes...
