Who is your favorite College Basketball Player?

Featured Replies

Mine would have to be Larry "Grandma" Johnson from the UNLV Runnin Rebels teams in the 1990's. It's a shame his NBA career was shortened and hindered by injuries, as he was one of the best College Basketball Players ever.

Career Stats:

21.6 points per

11.2 boards

2 assists

1.5 blocks

2 steals.

It's a shame he only played two years at UNLV, he could be in the top five of college basketball players had it not been for his 2 years of JUCO IMO.

What say you all? Who is your favorite College Basketball player?

Current: Jodi Meeks

Former: Cameron Mills

Non UK Player: McNamara from Syracuse

Pete Maravich

I have a friend who plays for Centre. Does that count? :D

Pete Maravich

He was by far the most fun to watch but was usually on the losing team.:taz:

As far as all time, everyone on here knows mine: Jonathan Clay Redick. He was as pure as anyone in the last 20 years.....now? I guess, I'll roll with Gerald Henderson (Duke) or Preston Knowles (Cards), they are hustle players, that just "get it" in regards to college basketball.

I said the above on 11/13/08, nothing has changed since then.

I'll go with Jamal Mashburn as the single player and the combination of Woods, Pelphrey, Farmer, and Feldhaus as my favorite group. In today's game, I enjoy Jodie Meeks, Kenneth Faried, and Stephon Curry.

Rex Chapman, Ed Davender, Kenny Walker, Jamal Mashburn, John Pelphrey, and Chuck Hayes.
