February 7, 200917 yr Typical Franklin. MTSU is in the same conference as Troy, where Franklin was two years ago. I think it shows a lot about Franklin, going back to the same conference as the team/coach (Troy/Blakeny) that really gave Franklin his big break to get back into college coaching.

I would be interested in seeing any comments that Troy's coach might have about Tony Franklin going to Middle Tennessee State.
February 7, 200917 yr Your right it does say a lot about Franklin. He would love a chance to get at Troy. I hope Troy runs all over him and gets him out of town like Auburn did. This system that he has doesn't work. He isn't the right guy to run it. He was just a blip on the screen and needs to go back and write another book or sell out again. He goes around and tries to put these systems into high school and makes a ton of money doing that he doesn't need to be in college. I may get into a little trouble for all that but Coach Franklin and I DO NOT get along. Let's just say we don't see eye to eye. Again this is all one mans opinion.

There are a lot of teams that have proof you're wrong. But just one man's opinion.

February 8, 200917 yr If he is so great then why can't he stick around anywhere? I will give it to you all that the idea of the system may work but he can not stick through it and can not change. Just not a very good coach. The tough ones are there through thick and thin.
