I went with Boy Meets World. It was either that or Saved By the Bell. .

 

Fresh Prince is a great show, but I would just as soon change the channel if either of the other two were on.

At the time, it was Saved By The Bell, and that's what I voted. However, it hasn't aged as well as Fresh Prince, so I would be more likely to watch it nowadays. Boy Meets World came along a bit too late for me.

I think "The Wonder Years" beats all three.....

Saved by the Bell and Fresh Prince had pretty big societal impacts for people in the 25-35 year old range now. This is a tough question.

 

Your big societal impact is exactly why I am choosing Boy Meets World. And my reason for picking it over Saved By the Bell. If you compare the middle school years, Boy Meets World wins. If you compare the College years, Boy Meets Worlds wins. High School, probably Saved By the Bell...but merely because of the ladies.

Although Mr. Feeney has had the most influence on my moral philosophy out of all of them. :laugh:

 

Another good reason to pick Boy Meets World. You should put the show on for your kids and they could learn every life lesson from Mr. Feeney lol.

I can't argue against The Wonder Years, I am a big fan of this show as well. Not as much as Boy Meets World, but I still really enjoy it. Thought it was pretty cool how the main character of both shows are brothers.

I am not sure of all the dates, but I am guessing BMW became popular in the mid to later 90s. Fresh Prince and Saved by the Bell were essentially over before BMW got started. Obviously BMW would be bigger to your group because that is who your age would have watched and grew up with. For my demographic, the other two played a bigger impact. I have never heard of any of my friends even mention BMW.

This poll is blashphemy! Boy Meets World taught me some of my most valuable lessons in life. Mr. Feeney was like a fictional third grandpa for me. Also, since he managed to be promoted all the way from middle school teacher to college professor I can still learn lessons from him that apply to me today.

Boy Meets World and Fresh Prince are neck and neck. Saved by The Bell is no where in the discussion IMO, although they are winning so it must be better than I thought ha

I have to go with SBB....only because I can look at Jessie and see the "other movie she was in"......

Plus the cheerleading outfits were much more prevelant in SBB
