Congrats to SV!

But he played at Pikeville last year right?

Yes

But he played at Pikeville last year right?

Yep.

Congratulations to Shelby Valley.

Great win for Shelby Valley and congrads on the championship ; you deserved it. I think that this could be an interesting turn of events for both teams (Valley and Elliott), if it all works out. Saying that Valley gets the reconition they deserve while Elliott gets put in the backseat. A flopped turn of events come March with Elliott being the underdogg; watch out.

Who were the other members of the all tourny team?

All tourney team was:

Justice, Adams, Hatfield, and Newsome from Shelby Vally

Hickman, Phillips, and Edelen from Bardstown

Martin from Hazard

Faulkners (both) and Ferguson from Elliot County

Strange from Pineville

Rich from Edmonson County

Congrats to Shelby Valley.

I'm proud of Bardstown. Winners in 2006, runners-up in 2007 and 2009, semi-finalist in 2008. This group took Bardstown to their first ever state Sweet 16 last year, and should look to do it again this year. Good job coach Goode and all the Tigers.

Nah, just the first in almost 40 years ...

Maybe I should have said "modern era."

Lets not get too excited saying that any 15th team beats Mason Co.or Clark Co. Do not forget they are a 2A team winning the All A. I know everyone says it doesn't matter but it really does. I think if Pikeville could have a hot night or Johnson Central plays well and the blueprint is set by making them go to the foul line they could get upset in the region. I know this is unlikely, but there are not going to be too many times that you can get by shooting so poorly at the line.

Johnson Central maybe, no way Pikeville...

I would have to think that SV is the very heavy favorite to come out of the 15th; especially after their All-A performance.

Also, Adams is being coached by a better coach, and utilized the way he should be..
