January 27, 200917 yr Barleycorn's coming to Florence From the NKy.com The new Barleycorn's will anchor the Pleasant Valley Commons development at U.S. 42 and Pleasant Valley Road in Florence. The 5,400 square-foot restaurant will have a 1,400 square-foot semi-covered outdoor patio. "Because of the growing population within Boone County, we feel this is the ideal location for our new restaurant," said Ken Heil, who co-owns Barleycorn's with his brother Joe. "We are thrilled to be part of this new, prestigious Hemmer development and look forward to serving our new neighbors in Florence." Paul Hemmer Cos. broke ground last fall on Pleasant Valley Commons, a $7 million mixed-use retail development that calls for 10,000 square feet of retail and office space adjacent to Barleycorn's. The restaurant is slated to open in late summer. It will be the fourth Barleycorn's restaurant in Greater Cincinnati. January 27, 200917 yr They'll have a presence in all three counties now. Great news for Boone Co. I love both the Lakeside Park and Cold Spring locations. Although, I have to admit, I wish Cold Spring had a set-up that was more similar to Lakeside Park.

The Chicken Finger sandwich is pretty good.
January 27, 200917 yr They're cheaper than most other places in this area.... Not Skyline, Fort Thomas Pub, and regular beers are also cheaper at O'Charley's and Applebee's.
