January 27, 200917 yr Author Are we including what we already have, or is this an additional amount? Additional amount.
January 27, 200917 yr The only bad thing about it is that we can't leave until about 4 and the show starts at 6:30. I am riding with my boss and his wife will have their car until 3:30 cause she works at a hospital in the area. I'm hoping we can get there right as the show starts. It is supposed to be a double taping so if we miss a match or two, it won't hurt us since its supposed to be right at 4 hours worth of wrestling. LOL. According to the local weather as of now, you should be good. Have a safe trip, and have a great time. WWE Smackdown is good.
January 27, 200917 yr I have to go over to Mt. Auburn at about 8 AM tomorrow. Probably get to go home early afternoon. Not sure which trip is going to be worse.
January 27, 200917 yr The amount of snow that I am hearing about doesn't concern me at all, but the amount of Ice that I am hearing about, scares the Hell out of me. I have never had any problem getting around in the snow but Ice, that is another matter.. BTW the Weather Channel just showed pictures of the Ice Storm in Paducah....Not looking good....

Could be quite a mess up here. The last forcast from the National Weather Service was updated @ 5:00 pm and said 4-6 inches by tomorrow morning. With another 1-2 tomorrow, and ice up to 0.25 inch, for a total of approx 5-8 inches of accumulation.
January 27, 200917 yr After a few bouts of losing electricity in the winter with ice storm or summer with thunderstorms, I went out and bought a generator tonight. That way, no BGP downtime because of lack of electricity.

I'm on BGP and listening to the game . . . don't have time to pull up weather!!

January 27, 200917 yr I lived in Caribou Maine and I have seen alot of snow. It's just as bad there. They start plowing at 2:00am on Main St. Bring in the dump trucks to take the snow out of town. As a youngster, I lived in Wyandotte Michigan. 28 years ago, we walked to school in several inches of snow. Business as usual. :walk: I really do not recall missing school for any weather. I guess that is why I'm so sarcastic when people panic over weather. Spring tornadoes were a much bigger threat.
January 27, 200917 yr My step-mother was from upstate NY and I remember MANY Christmas vacations in which were FEET of snow and seeing my cousins coming home on the bus . . . really you could hear it long before you saw that big yellow bus.
