January 17, 200917 yr Before his head coaching days was he an offensive or defensive guy? You don't know that answer???
January 17, 200917 yr Before his head coaching days was he an offensive or defensive guy? OC with the Eagles at one time.
January 17, 200917 yr Why did they wait so long? He could have been out interviewing for the latest round of jobs. I actually think this is exactly why they did it.....does Cowher look at this opportunity now?
January 17, 200917 yr Not a surprise after the fade/choke job. With my entire immediate family living in Tampa, and my sister being a photographer for the Trib....they were all shocked to hear this....this wreaks of something going on in the background. It almost makes you wonder if you can smell Tuna in Tampa right now.

January 17, 200917 yr My gut is it's so shady that they have to be trying to get Shannahan. I don't think Cowher will coach next year.
January 17, 200917 yr To further clarify, Bill Parcells has the freedom to opt out immediately if Huizenga's (sp?) majority sale of the Dolphin goes through...he also gets something like $9 mil. Very interesting.

January 17, 200917 yr PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE, WITH CHERRIES ON TOP GO TO DENVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's by and large the best availible... The Bucs have lost there mind, they deserve to lose...
January 17, 200917 yr Rahim Morris or M. Shannahan is who I think the next coach will be. Either they didn't want to loose Morris or they didn't want to miss on Shannahan.
January 17, 200917 yr Morris has already been named the next coach of the Bucs. After listening to NFL radio tonight, Gruden wasn't well liked by many on the team. Add the fact that they tanked down the stretch and the decision was made easier for the Glasers.

Add the fact that they tanked down the stretch and the decision was made easier for the Glasers. Gruden seems like you either hate 'em or love 'em type. He isn't afraid of cussing anyone out and jumping their butts regardless of who they are. I've always liked him as a coach and like coaches who don't care who someone is (he treats every player the same regardless if they start or don't). Ask Aqib Talib how he feels about him? Last time I saw he had nothing but good things to say about him.
