A buddy of mine who works for Marathon said that Thorton's and BP are two of the worst. He told me that Speedway was the best.

Shell on Dixie Hwy has all types of pamphlets about how their gas is better, and explains why it's always a few cents more.

Super America on Tates Creek

I'm a Shell person, simply because I have a Shell credit card. I get some sort of rebate on all Shell gas that I buy.

I never put anything BUT Shell in my motorcycle.

Speedway for me.

BP is the worst, IMO. Not only is it gone quicker, but I have had to pick up several people recently (I work at Enterprise) who have had to take their cars to the shop because of bad gas from BP.

Shell is usually more expensive than anything else here in Richmond, same goes for Marathon.

The only place I've ever gotten Thorntons was in Buckner, KY and it was horrible gas. I also try to stay away from Wal-Mart whenever possible, so that excludes their gas for me too.

I guess I'm more drawn to Speedway because of the Speedy Rewards. :)

Kroger is a deal if you accrue the gas points. Usually a dime cheaper. However I do not live real close to K that has gas. I stop everywhere. I guess either at SSA or UDF ( which I guess is Marathon gas) the most. I really see no diff in any of the brands.

Is it true that Thornton's gas is watered down or something? I know it is always at least one cent cheaper which usually suckers me.

Thats usually how I am, Shell is right across the street from the Thortons I usually go too and theres always a cent cheaper. But the past couple months it seems my tank goes down quicker when I go to Thortons than somewhere else and it has me wondering about their gas.

I usually go to that Thortons right across from that Shell as I live on down Dixie with some of my college buddys in a house but Ive defintley made up my mind to start going to the Shell after this last tank!

I recommend grabbing a $.69 fountain drink while you are in there as well.:thumb:

BP or speedway, depends on whether I am going to or coming from town.
