I Know It's Early, But....

Featured Replies

I personally think they search for every given opportunity to create "interesting" matchups.

See Marquette vs. UK

I can recall numerous times over the years when people have speculated about potential "interesting" matchups with UK and other teams that haven't materialized.

Gotta say, I was pretty excited a couple years back when UK and UC finally matched up for a game in the tournament. The excitement I felt before the game, paled in comparison to the excitement I felt after UK won. :dancingpa

I would wear half-blue and half-maroon. What a god awful outfit that would be.

I'd love to see it...weather it be in the tournament or the regular season...I think UK would sweep the floor with the Gophers...or atleast I would like to see it happen that way.

As I've said in numerous threads about this, it is as likely to happen as a Oklahoma State and UK matchup did during Eddie Sutton's time at OSU. That is, it never happened and that would have been one heck of a story line.

It's all bull right now. I believe UK cracks the to 25 very soon, and in do time will climb even higher.

It will be hard for UK to climb very high with no one in the SEC ranked... UK will have to run the table to climb very high. JMO.

Way too early to know but I wouldn't mind seeing this matchup though

The number one seed in that bracket would not be happy about going to Dayton w/ the possibility of facing UK in a home atmosphere.

I don't think it would honestly. If you think about it, out of the teams that will most likely get the number one seed; Pitt, Duke, Wake, UNC, Okla, maybe even georgetown. I really don't think UK could match up, or even play with these teams even if it was at Rupp.

Not saying that UK could or would beat any of those teams, but the top 4 seeds in each pool should get the geographical advantage not the 9 seed.

If UK cracks the top 25 and keeps winning they'll need help from a ton of other ranked teams to climb very high.

"Keeps Winning" is the key there. I could care less if they are ranked or not as long as they keep winning.
