January 12, 200917 yr IMO Kobe is still the best player in the game until Lebron wins a championship i was just wondering what everyone thought.
January 12, 200917 yr There is no better closer in the game and he proved that once again the other night. Until Lebron can hit the outside jumper a little better Kobe is still #1 on my list. I know Lebron's FG % isn't bad but thats because its all layups. Kobe V Wade tonight, wish it was on TV. :irked:
January 12, 200917 yr We've had this thread several times, and HT always smiles and promotes his boy!:thumb: I agree that he's the best. Lebron is next with D.Wade right behind, IMO.
January 12, 200917 yr He is the best period. He will be the best for a couple more years, then the torch will be passed to LeBron. Kind of like how Jordan passed the torch to Kobe.

January 12, 200917 yr Kobe is absolutely unbelievable. Lebron may be a little bigger, he might be a better dunker, but overall Kobe tops every player in the league. It's amazing at his age he is still peeking. Then again he's been peeking for 7 years now.
January 12, 200917 yr In my opinion Kobe is the best all around player, and Lebron is the most dominant.
January 12, 200917 yr IMO Kobe is still the best player in the game until Lebron wins a championship i was just wondering what everyone thought. What does that matter? Kobe wasn't even the best player on his team when he won those titles. I'll agree that Kobe is the best player, but it's not because he's got rings. Put Kobe in Cleveland to begin his career and without Shaq on his team and tell me how many rings he's got. Kobe has 6 years of age and 7 years in the NBA on Lebron. He should be better at this point, and probably will for say 3-4 more years, then it's Lebron's.
January 12, 200917 yr Last I checked basketball was a team sport, to say someone is or isn't the best player in the game simply b/c they haven't won a championship is beyond hilarious.
January 12, 200917 yr I personally think it is 1A.) Kobe 1B.) LeBron. Lebron is by far my favorite player, but Kobe is just sick.
January 12, 200917 yr When I was watching the Cavs vs. the Celtics the other day, I made the comment, "Lebron is probably the hardest player to stop when he wants to get to the basket, but Kobe is the best overall player."
January 12, 200917 yr I still think Lebron is the best player in the NBA followed by Kobe. Kobe is a better shooter, but Lebron is the overall better player IMO. I think Kobe has supperior talent around him and he did win 3 championships with the most dominant NBA player ever in his prime (Shaq). I think Lebron is the best player ever suited for NBA basketball. His size, strength, and athleticisim are unmatched. He is better suited for the NBA style than any before him (including Jordan). I don't think he is better than Jordan right now, but I do think that when he hangs up his shoes he (Lebron) will be considered the greatest player ever.
