I just got home and this was a overtime victory.

Penny is a stud. Very good ball player and a great sportsman to. Came over to the EC side of the court after the game and gave us the thumb's up.

Ethan, Evan, Ferg and Chris are really the heart and soul of that team.

Going into half time we were down 12 and that was because Ferg hit a 3 at the buzzer to end the half.

I have to give credit Timmy picked it up in the second half, but in the first half he acted like he wasn't gonna play defense because he wasn't getting the ball enough. He needs to grow up and quit being so hard on his self when he can't make a play.

Penny is a stud,dominated down low and kept Anderson in contention. Just got back from this one and it was an on your edge of your seat game. Elliott was down by 15 or 17 at one point, cant remember which and was down by 12 at the half. Within 2 1/2 minutes of the third the game was tied. Elliott shot very poor in the first half but started lighting it up in the third. Hats off to Anderson they played us tough and they are the real deal. Great win for the Lions and nice compliments from Joe Hall.

I particularly enjoyed the words of praise and encouragement given to Elliott by Joe B. Hall at the end of the game. Maybe someone should send him a few Elliott County shirts so he won't have to wear the same jersey all the time!!! :thumb:

Just got back from the game myself and from just from hearsay T. Knipp had around 20 and the rest of the starters ranged from 8-18 points. C. Knipp hit some big shots early. Elliott exploded in the third and it was close throughout the second half. Anderson Co. hit a 3 at the buzzer to put it into overtime. Penny had a great game, especially early as Anderson dominated the glass in the first half. Elliott seniors held their composure and played good defense late to hold for the win in OT.

Great game and a big congratulations to the Lions. You kept your composure and were able to take care of business again in a very physical game where Madisonville North Hopkins was able to control the tempo much of the night.

I wonder if were JTown lost to a non top 20 team and Elliott beating a top 20 team will shake the rankings up a bit, putting Elliott in front of JTown. Just a thought.
