Actually according to the Jeff Demling (sp?) blog they weren't even a top 25 team. ;)

 

Maxpreps has Anderson Co right at #20.

I don't recall anyone ever saying they weren't?

 

I do believe this game illustrates that they would probably take a few losses in the regular season if they played in one of the stronger regions in the state. That doesn't mean they couldn't win those regions but it wouldn't be a lock.
