Easily Phelps.

Easily. :thumb:

I remember being in my condo at Myrtle Beach glued to the T.V. freaking out when he got the record. Just an unbelievable moment in sporting history.

Phelps, I dont recall any other time I've been so glued to my tv and paid attention and keep up with the olympics espically swimming like I did for phelps quest for 8. Simply unbelievable

Phelps in a landslide...

Phelps.

Like to see Bolt's accomplishments on the list. I'm sure if he were from the US. we'd think more highly of what he did.

Phelps.

All my daughter's basketball games and all my son's football games.

I voted for Tiger Woods.

In 20 years, I doubt most people will be able to tell you the 2008 Super Bowl winner, the WS winner, the NBA or US Open winners. However, I would venture to guess everyone will remember Michael Phelps and what he accomplished.

Definitely Michael Phelps for me, partially because I am a huge fan of the Olympics, but it would still probably be my number one even if I wasn't a big fan.

Still don't think it's on the same level as Phelps though. I don't think I've stood up and cheered and yelled, BY MYSELF, for any other event the way that I did for Phelps in the Olympics, and I watched every race he was in including the preliminary events.
