Not meaning any disrespect to any teams just saying nobody plays as hard as Elliot Co. I compare the way they play to Tyler Hansbrough, its a fact that he plays harder than anybody. Elliots core players are also seniors and you can't tell me that even though everybody wants it, your senior year you want it a little bit more. Just stating my opinion i could be wrong but again I think Elliot will cut the nets down in Rupp.

Actually I believe Duncanville is #1 in Texas according to several sites...CH is top 5 for their class...not the whole state.

The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches has Duncanville #2 and Cedar Hill #3. Class 5A is the largest class in Texas and Cedar Hill's enrollment in grades 9-12 is 1,800.

Has won everything but a National Title and you know you wouldn't bet against him to do it this year. But back to the point of the thread, Elliot Co. was very impressive in defeat today and hopefully we can all get a Saturday night matchup of Elliot Co. vs Holmes. Scott Co. might have something to say about that though.

With the game today, their average "plummeted" to around 97 a game :lol:

Seems like Elliot County battled but once again, size and athleticism and good D cause them to have an "off shooting Night":rolleyes:. What this Texas team offers is probably not far off of what Holmes, Scott County, and several others do.

Over rated big time imo. Elliott would be them badly, unless they've improved.

This Texas Team is way better than Scott Co.

I'm certainly no Scott County fan and am a big fan of the "little guy" and David vs. Goliath stories, but its statements like this by the EC faithful that make it hard to root for them sometimes????

I thought the thread, was Elliott County and Cedar Hill. Get back to the topic.

Looking back, I didn't see a difference in D1 prospects at Cedar Hill, Holmes or SC. All three have multiple guys that will get a chance to earn a degree for free at the next level.

 

I will have my eye on the Gipson kid going forward. Really liked what I saw in terms of effort and fundamentals from a youngster...

Knew we were in trouble when Elliott starters shot five airballs in warmups. My kid shot two or three of them and I have never saw them do that before. I asked Jonathan and he said he didnt know...he said "the shots felt good, they just didnt fall, what can I say"

They played their hearts out so I felt sorry for them. You cant win em all. I would say it will be a while before they shoot that Terrible again(excepting Ethan from "they" because he shot very well)!!!!!!!!!! BTW CT is the best and most complete team I have saw this year.

Some nights are like that--Seen more than a few of them with no explanation sometimes?? Watched some of the next game, and I like their chances vs. Myrtle Beach tomorrow.

Cedar Hill has a nice team, long and athletic. Gibson kid was a load in the middle. Match him with Glover who signed with Utah and #32, they have some studs in the middle. EC leans on the three, everybody knows that, and they just couldn't get them to fall tonight. I thought they gave they're usual all out effort in the 2nd half, but didn't play as intense in the first. I thought Knipp had a good game considering the competition. Ferguson had one of those nights you throw the tape away and forget about it.

 

Perimeter was won by EC, Cedar Hill controlled the middle. Others have made mention, this is the type of teams that make you better. Myself and some others in the crowd kept saying, to shoot as bad as EC and still be in the game wasn't bad. I'm not going to compare Cedar Hill to other teams in KY, that is a waste of time. Needless to say, they would be ranked very high.
