Pretty easy to figure out.

Neither team shot well from outside. Cedar Hill had big advantage on inside.

I don't remember a game where Ferguson never hit a three?

Seemed like Evan Faulkner was isolated alone on Texas big man for most of his easy baskets, probally would have adjusted that.

Elliot County is still undefeated in Kentucky:D

I know we want to keep the thread on THIS GAME, but the fact is, they are going to need a good draw to get to Saturday.

 

This game shows they deserve a top 10 spot in Kentucky, but I just don't know if they are top 3 yet. Key word being, yet, we are still in December. They won't get tested against until the All A tournament.

I have no idea what happend in this game; but is there any team in KY that poses a threat of an inside outside game. Im gonna go against you HC:cool: and say that EC doesnt need a draw to make it to Saturday. I think they are very capable of winning a 50-47 game. Gotta understand that KY is very weak this year

[iMO] Ky is up this year. Kentucky basketball is at an all time. D-1 schools are in the state like they have never been before. Look at EC they could possibly send 3 to D1. The samething is going on around the state. The 2010 class is loaded, maybe Kentucky's best class ever. Now with that said EC could very well play on SAT. at Rupp. But if they draw J-Town, Holmes,or SC in the #1 or #2 round they could be beat early in the sweet sixteen.

Thought it would be close either way it went. Tough loss for Elliott Co but they will rebound and be just fine. Sometimes it takes tough losse's and games to make you see the even bigger picture. Rather loss early in the season rather than March! But I said Elliott wouldnt get close to that 106 ppg average in this one! Look for Elliott to bounce back and have a better game next time out!

OK, Elliott had a bad game. But maybe Cedar Hill played poorly also? Those speculating that Elliott would have won if they played like they usually do, need to consider this. Elliott is my second favorite team this year but some of their fans seem unrealistic. Clark County along with Holmes and Scott County remain my favorites for Saturday at Rupp. Elliott is in there for the other spot with a few others mainly from Louisville area.

A lot of this, "Elliott County doesn't play anyone, we don't know how good they are", is nonsense. These kids have been all over the country since middle school and have fared very well. This isn't there first rodeo so to speak. They know how to play and win. I'm not going to say they're going to play Sat. morning in March but they are definitely good enough to be there.

 

AAU ball simply doesn't count. No one plays defense and with the way Elliott Co boys shoot they should fair well. Last year they played 3 quality teams. They played 1 team very tough and almost won, but wasn't in the other games. How do we know how Elliott Co. would do against Holmes, Scott Co, J'town, or even Hazard who is playing a tough schedule.
