I'd rather he not; hate to see this thread turn into a CovCath football coach- like thread. :D

I always felt it was best not to air out dirty laundry in public. If someone has a problem with some coach at Highlands, the principal and super have phone numbers. Use them.

While you're right on my points I just have a problem with someone not having the intestinal fortitude to say what they're really wanting to say. Say nothing or say everything.

Sounds like the football players from NCC were a factor.

Where did you guys see Conner play last year?

I saw him at CCH.

Get back to the game, or this one is done.

I was shocked by the outcome of the game.Walking into the gym I thought HHS would walk out a 10 point winner. The bad thing is I also think the HHS players thought the same....

NCC came out showing ALOT of heart and muscle. They were quicker and more aggressive and had HHS playing on their heals the whole game.

I thought Grant P played a perfect game! You talk about a kid that came to play!!! He got a shot in the ribs and sucked it up and came back in playing even harder. The 2 Geisler boys out hustled the HHS big guys and controlled the inside game.

I think I would have thrown Grubbs in there to show a little strength under the boards for HHS.

Good luck to both teams and hope to see a different outcome in the District game.

Wowzers !! Anytime that an NCC team can beat a team from Highlands it is a time for celebrating !:dancingpa

Good assessment. I would think HHS would look to Kowolonek to do a little more scoring. He was the forgotten man in the 2nd half. He literally had to go get the ball himself to get a look at the basket.

I think we see the difference in two sport athletes in the approach of the two coaches. Geisler is a basketballer playing football who was able to step right in and contribute. At HHS, Grubbs and Welz are footballers playing basketball. They may need a couple of weeks to work themselves into Willie's rotation.

I was talking to someone today about the game and they said that Kowolonek didnt get enough touches in this game. Was this the case and would it have mattered?
