Scott County junior Ge-Lawn Guyn has gotten his first scholarship offer, from Western Kentucky, the Courier-Journal reported Monday.

 

The 6-foot-3 Guyn had 29 points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists on Sunday in the No. 1 Cardinals' loss to No. 2 Holmes.

 

Guyn is also being recruited by Louisville, Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee and Xavier.

You can never have enough good point guards...and if you don't think UK needs a pg then you're not watching the same team I am. I know Vilarino is coming in next year and possibly Jai Lucas, but like I said you can never have enough.

Billy G should be going after Guyn and leaving Euton alone. Euton is a good player, but I do not see the fit for him at UK.

After seeing Evansville put a real thumping on WKU recruiting better pick up for the Tops.

That would be nice especially when Coach Horn filled out his 09 class with an explosive wing guard in Lakeem Jackson.

I wouldnt worry about one lose even though it was a bad one. WKU rebounded from a bad loss like this to beat UofL. If we are talking bad losses and recruiting I have two things to say, VMI and UK.

 

On the subject WKU would be a good choice for Guyn, they have a solid program and have had some good luck with in state kids, Pettigrew and Slaughter.
