How many turnovers did each have?.

2 fumbles EACH; FC also threw an interception.

So NCC has 49 more penalty yards...

Ft. Campbell has 1 more turnover than NCC...

Ft. Campbell has two TD's called back by penalty’s, NCC has none...

Sounds to me like both teams played sloppy, but NCC can't say they played any worse than Ft. Campbell if you ask me...

What was the "hold-up" on the NCC side of the field @ the end of the game? Just wondering.

I'd be remiss if I didn't congratulate the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds on another outstanding season in Kentucky football.

Both teams made careless mistakes. Too many penalties for NCC, too many turnovers for FC.....but the buzzer has sounded and the game is over; and there's only one victor! That's not a knock on NCC, it's just that there's really not much more to say about it.

We can go back and forth about the penalties and the turnovers.....but what's done is done. The Fort Campbell are the repeating 2A Champions!

Later.

Congrats to both teams. NCC has nothing to be ashamed of. Making it to I believe 4 straight state championships is VERY impressive. Today just wasn't your day.

How many penalties did NCC end up with?

How many penalties did FC end up with?

Kind of like I said in the game thread. The penalties had nothing to do with giving up 400 yards of offense to Fort Campbell.

I am curious however where the problem was on that many illegal motion penalties.

How many TD's did Ft. Campbell have called back? NCC?

How many turnovers did each have?

FT. Campbell is CLEARLY the best team in 2A... NCC just had a chance to prove otherwise and failed to do so...

Wow, took my question the wrong way didn't ya, LOL.

I was just curious.

I wasn't implying anything at all with the question, I was seriously just curious.

17-95 yds - NCC

6-46 yds - FC

Thanks!

I'm signing off. I've got to get up for guard duty in five hours! Don't think I'll get much sleep though.

Again, congrats to the NCC 'Breds on a fantastic season.

BACK TO BACK FALCONS BABY!

They did it FC, FalconBacker, they did it!!!!!!!!

You're right I did... I just seen the way things were going in the game thread as if to imply that NCC should've won had they played better. My only point is Ft. Campbell played bad as well... Sorry

It's cool. Whatever the reasons FC got it done, thats all that matters.

Great season to both teams. Tough loss for NCC but it sounds like FC was the better team today.

What are they charging to get in to Papa Johns Stadium?
