December 10, 200817 yr Jim, totally agree with you on the Eagles and Axl Rose. I'll also add in a big chunk of modern orchestral composition that I've heard referred to as "atonal nightmares of pretention." I'm looking at you, Phillip Glass. But I must say that I like Frank Zappa a great deal. He wrote some of the most entertaining whacked-out jazz stuff I've ever heard. Of course, I don't know much about jazz or about anything for that matter. But I know what I like.
December 10, 200817 yr "Ay Bay Bay" some hip-hop song created a year or so ago. TERRIBLE! Oh, and country!
December 11, 200817 yr Nickelback, Creed, Hinder, or anything else that qualifies as rock now a days. Add Coldplay to that list. Those bands are terrible IMO.
December 11, 200817 yr Anything by lil wayne Agree with Jim and rockmom on the eagles Just about anything by Jimmy Buffet The Greatful Dead Weezy is great... End of discussion.
December 11, 200817 yr Bluto, you realize you're asking a guy (Jim Schue) that likes one of the all-time most awful songs in history, Walking On Sunshine. :creepy: That song should be enough to torture anyone, but it's too cruel to use even on them.

Hey, everybody's entitled to a guilty pleasure song!
December 11, 200817 yr Apparently I'm the only Coldplay fan on BGP which is ok because it takes a genius to recognize genius.:fire::fire::fire: But seriously, if you want to get the guys at Gitmo gagging, just play Lynard Skynard non-stop. That's the most obnoxious, foul, putrid mind-numbing excuse for "rock" ever recorded. Any "gangsta" rap ought to do the trick also.
