I read an article about it this morning. Frankly, Im not sure what the problem is (for the detainees that is) here. The first four songs on that list rock, and I'd be having a heck of a time if they were blasting away.

For Jim, ... I think he would put

 

Thunderstruck from AC/DC on that list then

Coldplay (anything)

Garth Brooks (anything)

I never understood the fascination with Frank Zappa, so I might add that one.

 

Any AC/DC tune with the awful, shrill voice of Brian Johnson is torturous to me. Especially "Thunderstruck."

 

How about Axl Rose doing a capella? I've never heard anything that more closely resembled the sound of yowling cats than his voice.

Don't know who it's by, but that song, "I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world" makes me cringe every time I hear it. That would be some good torture music.
