Yeah, he was unconcious.....him and Rondo got into it on the other end of the court....I remember Rondo pulling one of the sickest dribbles I have ever seen in my life and getting called for traveling, for no other reason than it not being humanly possible!

 

I had forgotten that, but I do remember that now. He went through his legs at a reverse angle or something crazy. That was a classic game.

2004 A-10 tournament game when X defeated St. Joes, then went on to defeat Dayton on their home court.

He went behind his back without using the other hand. It was sick.

 

Odd to think this game would be the last UK would win against UF in the next 7 tries. I am glad Crawford/Bradley were able to finish off Florida the way they started... with a loss.

I havent been to many, but last year when we knocked off Vandy in Rupp was pretty awesome.

I watched John A. Logan beat Lakeland College 148-134 once. A kid from JAL hit 10 three-pointers in the game. Very entertaining game.

 

I was at Rupp for senior night when they thumped Vanderbilt. It was the class that included Marquis Estill and they honored Jon Stewart and his family as well. Sat with Will Perdue and talked basketball before the game.

He had the one follow up dunk that brought the house down. It was his coming out party that night

I was sitting with my dad, and we couldn't hear anything when he dunked ...the place went crazy

1978 Senior Day at Rupp. UNLV. UK won by 20 by blowing it open in the second half. Wild atmosphere to send off Robey, Givens, Phillips and Lee.

 

1981 Senior Day vs. LSU. Bengals were unbeaten in the SEC and UK rode Bowie and Minniefield to an upset. Bowie blocked a Howard Carter shot on the baseline at the end to perserve a one point win.

 

1984 Mideast Regional game vs. Louisville. UK came back late and held on to beat the Cards for the second time that year. It was a year after the original "Dream Game." Cats beat Illinois for the right to go to the Final Four 2 days later.

 

 

Those were the biggest highlights I recall from seeing the Cats in person.

I have seen alot of wild and exciting games, but the ones that stick out the most (in no particular order):

 

- UK basketball beats Florida State 106-81 in 1993 NCAA tourney to advance to the Final Four

- UK football beats Florida State in last year's Music City Bowl

- UK football loses to Tennessee in 4 OT's last season

- UK basketball beats Florida at Rupp a few years ago (when UF had Walsh and Roberson)

- Senior Day when Chuck Hayes was a senior

- UK basketball beats Georgetown College in an exhibition game (significant because that was my little girl's first UK game)

- UK beats Aubun in about 1997 but memorable because Derek Anderson blew out his knee

 

I think there are others, but those are the ones that stick out right now.

 

I'm pretty sure he was talking about College Basketball but that's cool to.

I also was at the UK/UNC game when Prince hit what seemed to be 7 or 8 three's in one half.

My first game ever going to Rupp. I got a chance to see the 96' team destroy Alabama just a couple weeks before the tournament started.

UK beating Florida when Florida was ranked #1 for about 3 hours. I was there and Rupp was rocking.

A close second was when UK played UNC and Tay hit those 5 three pointers. I was in the front row for it and to see where he pulled up from on the last 3 was incredible.

The only game UK game worthwhile I have been to is a couple of years ago before Chris Lofton when UK played UT. UK won by around 20 I think.
