And they're going to have to pay a ton to get Burnett. Didn't the Braves offer him $15 million per year? I'd think the Yanks would be in the $16-$18 range. December 11, 200817 yr I would say that he would probably have a no trade clause built into his contract. He'll be waiving it quickly if he signs with the Nats. I agree Clyde. If he's really worried about winning he'll wave a no trade clause for the right situation. Every other situation might be right if he goes to the Nats.

Josh Hamilton and Jared Burton were both Rule V picks. This guy is probably a hard thrower that hasn't found control or another pitch yet...that's my guess anyway. It's worth the 50,000 to take a chance on someone.
December 11, 200817 yr From CTR Leatherpants is building his perfect ex-Red team by selecting right-hander Terrell Young with the first pick in the Rule 5 draft. Young was 1-2 with a 2.41 ERA for Class A Sarasota last season, where he pitched out of the bullpen. He certainly has a big arm and has done well since moving to the pen.
