I'm pretty sure CCH plays Conner on Tuesday at home. Don't know much about Conner this year at all, so I'm not sure how it will go.

TY. Conner could be a good match-up, but CCH could get healthy in this game

Yes he is not only a senior but Masons best defender and a 6-10 rebound a game guy.He can also give you 10 points a game.Once Hamm is at full strength at guard his senior leadership and ball handleing will help a lot also.He can also knock down the trey and Royals bench will become that much deeper.

I was very impressed with Downing and Hamm. Hamm is lightning quick with the ball and defensively. Downing plays with a swagger that I really like. He is tough.

Who is up next for each of these teams?

Royals keeps there line of NKY teams going tuesday night when they welcome Holy Cross(Cov) to Maysville.

Mason Co will play Covington Holy Cross at the Fieldhouse on Tuesday. Last home game for the Royals until the new year and the MCIT starts.

As Ohyeah mentioned, CC plays Conner at home on Tuesday. Conner started their season with an 11 point win over Dixie Heights.

MC starts 3 sr's this year? How will Setty and Gilbert fit in? Is the King kid playing, I believe a Jr?

Congrats to the Royals on a nice bounce back,I had to miss this game to attend a christmas party and it stunk. Not sure if CCH is a little down this year or not but i know this is a very tough place to grab a victory at especially by 20+.I said tuesday not panic if your a Royals fan as this team is young and is just starting to get everybody back and healthy,They will be very good by January once they gel and are 100% ready to roll.Im sure CCH will bounce back strong against Connor.

Yes,King will see some bench minutes im talking Ryne King right.MC is a young team as only 2 of the Sr has saw a lot of real minutes from last year in big situations.

Yep Royals go on the road for a month,Including a trip to Florida.

I don't know if anyone caught the halftime show but 7 Colonels were picked to shoot halfcourt shots and made 2 of 7. That's half the points CovCath scored in the entire first half. Maybe Coach L should recruit come CraZieS

Yes, Ryne is who I was referring to.

Is Pawsatt playing? (sorry if the box score was on the thread and I just didn't go back to look)

Yes

Did Connelly play for CovCath? He's very athletic and can run the floor and give a defensive presence. Do you think he will see any significant playing time if CCH struggles?

Mason County is a very young team as far as experience outside of Middleton and Downing. Congrats to Phil Barner on his performance last night. His improvement throughout the year gives Mason Co. another weapon and a post presence. Once Hammer gets healthy, his minutes will increase and our leadership will be second to none. The three sophomores will go through some growing pains but will be battle tested when tourney rolls around. The experience they gain throughout the whole year will pay huge dividends in March hopefully. Justin Lang will provide quality minutes off the bench with his defense and intensity and Mandella Rice will provide some offensive punch from the outside. This team has a great makeup with some quickness and length. Mason County's schedule is very tough and there will be some bumps along the road, but when March rolls around it is EAT IT SLEEP IT REPEAT IT!!!!!

For the Mason County fan missing your bourbon and coke you can find it dripping into the CCH coach's office.

Im kind of confused by this. Outside of the student section, the other parts of the visitors side of the gym was a very mixed crowd. I sat one section over from the kids and had CCH fans around me. Since the home side is taken up by the cheering section and the Notre Dame section, I assume their parents must sit somewhere? I don't think that this statement is appropriate unless you know for a fact who was drinking and if that is the case take it up with a cop.
