What a difference three days makes!

Wow! 39??

It was 29-12 at the half.

Career highs for Pawsat (12), Downing (11) and maybe for Barner as well with 13. That is encouraging.

Wow...CCH has a long way to go this year.

Good Scoring for the Royals!!

I know the Royals are going to lose their fair share of games this year because of the brutal schedule.

I can actually deal with them losing if they play their best, I will just tip my hat to the other team. Tuesday was frustrating because Highlands was a good team, but the Royals didn't play their best.

To go on the road and beat a good Cov Cath team like this is VERY impressive. A good sign considering the schedule will only get tougher.

I agree. Differnt team it seems tonight.

Not a good showing for the Colonels.

Was Mason that good? Cov Cath that bad?

Losing by 20 points at home is a big ouch. I know Isler probably isn't in basketball shape yet & Shover is out, but ouch.

How was the atmosphere? Packed house?

According to Mason County's radio announcer it was packed.

Having Downing on "D" helped a lot!

It wasn't as close as the score might indicate.

Complete mismatch. Even if Shover played, Mason wins easily. Heck, they didn't even need Middleton to do much tonite which he could have. No one could stop him off the dribble.

Until Shover comes back and he is healthy, it will be a long, long season for CovCath as none of the guards can drive nor hit the outside.

This years version of the Royals isn't nearly as good as their last year team was, but then again when you lose the players that they lost from last year team who could be, but they are a lot closer to their team of last year, than what CovCath is to theirs.

On a bright note the CovCath JV won and looked good in doing so....
