Kentucky returns home after a couple of "rousing" wins in Vegas. The Lamar Cardinals are 5-0 on the year. They have beaten Louisiana College, Louisiana Lafayette, Denver, Rice and Lyon.

 

For those that don't know, University of Lamar is located Beaumont, Texas. They have an enrollment of 13 thousand and one of their more famous alumni was Janis Joplin.

 

We could just cut and paste the same questions for UK into every game, appears we are going to have the same issues all year.

 

1. Can UK have less than 20 turnovers

2. Will Meeks try and score 60

3. Will Liggins stay in the game after throwing the ball in the 3rd row

Lamar's guards are small but quick. Both like to shoot the 3's. It will be interesting, to see who guards them on the perimeter.

I have heard Lamar is a run and gun team. They like to shoot a lot of 3's. I will say Kentucky 85-62.

Kentucky wins this one handily. Patterson with a double-double in the first half, Liggins with 7 or 8 dimes, and Meeks continues his historic point scoring run with 34.
