January 31, 200917 yr I believe Conner made it to the elite 8 last year. Gray has beaten Conner twice this year. Walton has beaten both teams. Walton has better guards but limited post and Conner/Gray has more skilled post with lesser guard play. It will all depend on what draw each of the 3 teams receives. Stay away from Johnson County/LTMS/Crosby and we might see on of those 3 in the elite 8. Walton is the best out of Northern Ky. I've seen all 3 play and they are best in that part of the state.

That is if all 3 win their play in game. Walton and Meece in the 2nd round will be a great game. Should be the best early round matchup in the tourney. Some of the brackets look so weak, it's hard to understand how all 3 of these teams got on the same side of their bracket, oh well!

Should be a great game. Sounds like both teams play similar styles. The winner will get Clinton County. That should also be a good game. One of these 3 teams will make it to the final 4.

Just heard today from the Gray 7th grade coach that he may bang out and not play in the state tournament. Conner may also have some schedule problems...hopefully KBA will work with. This is due to thier season ending league tournament that starts this weekend. Conner plays Saturday in thier league tourney. Gray has a bye...however the coach doesn't want them warn out. Hope they both play in state....we need good N. KY representation.
February 3, 200917 yr Some early games that could be interesting in addition to the ones mentioned in the round of 32 are Wayne Co. vs Clay Co. and in the round of 16 could be Hazard(Eversole) vs Scott Co., Johnson vs Fleming, Moss vs Crosby. This are interest to me as I am familar with these teams except for Moss vs Crosby but I figure that will be a good game from what I read on here.

Conner plays Saturday in thier league tourney. Gray has a bye...however the coach doesn't want them warn out. Hope they both play in state....we need good N. KY representation.Was their league tournament pushed back because of the bad weather last week?

Because of tournament/game delays, how much will the snow/ice storm from last week impact team's ability to participate in the KBA state?
